Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is one of the market leader in Sweden in terms of revenues and number of passengers traveling to Thailand. We constantly evolve and we aim to expand further to ensure that THAI has a forefront position to the key markets in Asia for Scandinavian travellers.

In this aim we are now expanding our sales team to include a:

Sales Representative

To our office in Stockholm.

This qualified person is our Sales Representative for Sweden, Finland and Estonia. The position is full-time and requires you to work outside of normal working hours, such as evenings and weekends. You are expected to represent THAI on events and fairs. We expect you to use available resources to ensure that THAI is well known among our Travel Agent community but also by our Corporate Accounts and other important partners to THAI.

We expect you to have previous experience in the travel trade, knowledge of the distribution channels and knowing how to extract data from various reporting tools. Knowledge of reservation booking in Amadeus is a prerequisite.

Your position also includes assisting our Digital and Marketing Manager with e-commerce strategies and production and publishing of content on our digital platforms.

In the candidate, we look for the followings:

  • Proven working experience in the travel trade, preferably at another airline
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English both written and spoken, preferable with a creative mindset. Speaking and writing Finnish will be considered an advantage
  • Experience and excellent knowledge of working in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Proficiency in Amadeus
  • Knowledge of search ranking and optimization factors and key algorithm updates
  • Ability to drive product enhancements and product roadmaps.
  • Perform sales call/sales presentations to target groups including handling fairs and events as well as cold calling corporates
  • Entering of contracts with business agencies and commercial accounts and keep statistics updated
  • Assist District Sales Manager by creating reports and statistical information
  • Coordinate and act as tour leader for corporate and agent familiarization trip
  • Perform various sales administrative duties
  • Perform sales in Sweden, Finland and Estonia in cooperation with Sales Manager
  • Driver license is a must



You will be reporting to the District Sales Manager at Thai Airways International PCL at Stockholm office and your area of responsibility includes Finland and Estonia.

Our office is situated in down town Stockholm and we have a representative office for ground operation and cargo handling at Arlanda Airport. THAI Sweden currently employs 23 and has a turnover of more than USD 70 million. The route network includes of 70 destinations and we operate a daily operation at Arlanda with a double daily operation during December to April at specific weekdays.
